Jan van der Hoeven

Graduated from Wageningen University with specialization in water quality, water treatment and toxicology. Worked as a scientist specializing in the relationship between nutrition and cancer. More than 30 scientific publications and distinguished as European Scientist (EEMS Young Scientist Award) in 1985. In 1983 he founded an internationally operating Contract Research Organisation in the field of environment and safety research for which he became fully responsible in 1988. In 2003 he received the entrepreneurship prize from Wageningen University. Since 1988 Jan van der Hoeven is active with his own investment portfolio of Life Sciences companies in which he plays an active role.

Miranda Janssen

Involved in and/or responsible for general management & finance of a number of life sciences companies since 2005. Before that, she worked for 17 years at an international Contract Research Organization in various positions. In 2003 she obtained a Master in Business Administration (MBA). In total more than 20 years of experience in various positions at (inter) national companies, involved in M&A (merger & acquisition) activities.

Wim Jongen

Has a PhD in toxicology and food sciences and more than 15 years of experience in business development in Life Sciences. He held various senior management positions at Wageningen University (1990-2008) and was a professor in Food Products Design and Quality Management of Foods at Wageningen University (1994-2004). He is the author of more than 150 scientific articles and has written seven scientific books as an author and / or editor.
